A pregnant woman believed to be in her 30’s whose name is yet to be identified has been killed and forcefully removed her baby from the womb with one leg of the baby been chopped off by an unknown person(s) at Ekumfi Akwakrom in Central Region.
Information gathered indicated that the deceased is not known in the community
In an interview with obaatanparadioonline.com, some eyewitnesses revealed that after the act the suspects place the lifeless body of the baby beside the mother on the cape coast highway
This incident has left the entire Akwakrom community in a state of shock.
The Assemblyman for the Ekumfi Akwakrom Electoral Area, James Entsie appealed to the general public who have not seen their lost pregnant women for some days now to come to Essakyire police for identification.
The two bodies have been sent to Our Ladies of Grace Mortuary at Mankessim
