A Philanthropist, Mr. Samuel Batu who is the Founder of a Non-Governmental Organization called SAMUEL BATU FOUNDATION and doubles as a Member of the NDC Communication Team Member in Kasoa(Awutu Senya East Constituency) of the Central has advised Muslim Youth to stay away from crime and other social vices and volunteer information on suspected criminals to the security agencies for arrest and prosecution.
Mr. Samuel Batu who was speaking to the media after he led his foundation to donate some food items to the Zongo Community in Kasoa to help them throughout their Ramadan fast bemoaned with deep sense humor how every anti social act in a community is associated with Muslim youth.
He noted that, if the Muslim Youth in our community shy away from violent activities and help arrest the bad nuts, it would save the image of the Muslim Community.
Mr. Samuel Batu in addition commended his Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the NDC administration for introducing the “work abroad” initiative which seeks to send the skilled Youth in Ghana to Overseas to work there.
He thus urged the Muslim youth to take advantage of the President’s initiative and get skill training so to be included instead of engaging in anti social vices.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Zongo Community in Kasoa, the NDC Zongo Coordinator for Awutu Senya East Mohammed Nurideen expressed their gratitude to Mr. Samuel Batu and his foundation for their kind gesture as he believes this will really help them in their days left to end their Ramadan Fasting.
