Central Regional New Patriotic Party Executives in Central Region has condemned stabbing incident at Awutu Senya East EC office during transfer of voting.
On 2nd of June, 2024. It was reported that, one NDC supporter has stabbed son of Hawa Koomson to critical condition following a little misunderstanding at the center which police has arrested the culprit.
In a press conference today at NPP party office in Kasoa, Central Regional NPP secretary Mr. Richard Takyi Mensah on behalf of the regional executives and constituency executives condemn the unfortunate incident calling for police to stand firm a deal with the issue, investigate the matter and find justice to the victim.
Adding more to his point, he referred to the NDC parliamentary candidate, Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo as Ambassador of violence in Kasoa who instigating her supporters to create violence in Kasoa during elections.
Meanwhile, The Central Regional Women Organizer Shallot Adwoa Antwi, said the NPP is focused to win both Presidential and also parliamentary seat in central region coming 2024 elections hence the party will not do anything to jeopardize the peace in the region.
She said, Hawa Koomson is focus to protect the peace in Kasoa, whiles NDC candidate is also busily instigating violence to win the elections.
