The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana who is also an Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’ dispatch motor rider who is in convoy has knocked Okada ridar making his leg chopped off.
Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday July,22,2023 was attending a 75th Speech and Prize giving day Celebration at Ghana National College at Cape Coast and upon reaching Gomoa Buduatta in the Gomoa East District, one of his motor made wrong overtaken and knocked the Okada rider.
The okada Okada Rider was believed to be in his late 20’s leg chop off and in critical condition after police convoy from Accra to Cape Coast Knocked him down at Buduatta on the Kasoa Cape Coast highway.
Information gathered revealed that the Police convoy made a wrongful overtaken and knocked the rider but the convoy failed to take the victim to hospital.
Speaking to Media, an Eyewitness Emmanuel Gaise reveal that, the rider leg chop off instantly and has been rushed to Winneba Trauma and specialist Hospital by the Eyewitness who went to the scene.
Emmanuel Gaise alleged that the the Police convey believed to be vice president Dr Alhaji Bawumia,Vice President of Ghana.
Meanwhile, the case has been reported to the police station for investigation.
Eyewitness who went to the scene worried on how the convoy refused to stop and check how the accident occurred and assist him to the hospital.
