After the resumption, the Galaxies picked up from when they equalized and took the game to Sudan from pillar to post.
Afriyie Barnieh was brought down inside the penalty box and he stepped up and dispatched the resulting penalty kick to put Ghana in the lead before adding another two minutes later but unfortunately VAR adjudged it be offside.
Second half substitute Seidu Suraj wrapped up the win with a 90th minute strike to secure a vital win for Ghana.
Meanwhile Ghana finished the game with 10 men after Barnieh was dismissed for a clumsy tackle.
