A Physician Assistant at GLOJOE RHEMA HOSPITAL, Madam Joana Apkaliga is reiterating calls on the general public particularly those within central region to seek for early medical attention when notice of symptoms of Cholera to avert dire situations to curtail the spread of the disease and fatalities.
Speaking to Journalists, Madam Joana noted that most people sit unconcern when symptoms of Cholera prevail leading to critical cases and fatalities.
Cholera has been on the rise in the country of which currently Central Region is recording most cases. The outbreak according to health Professionals is as a result of unhygienic environment and has thus call for revisiting of health safety protocols.
Madam Joana made these assertion when GLOJOE RHEMA HOSPITAL embarked walk to sensitize the public on their health needs ahead of the Official opening of the hospital on Saturday 1st March, 2025 at Kasoa Ofaakor Queencity. The Grand opening with see Dignitaries like Hon. Dr. Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor MP for Awutu Senya East, Akwasi Boadi (Akrobeto), and many others.
On her PART the Head of Marketing at GLOJOE RHEMA HOSPITAL, Miss Alberta Anaafi noted that the facility seeks to educate the public more on Personal hygiene and also bring healthcare to the door steps of people living at Kasoa Ofaakor Queencity.
She added that the Grand Opening of the facility which is scheduled for 1st March 2025, there will be free screening for cholera and other related diseases. This move she believes will help improve the health status of the community.
