Dampare Brought Me Back To My Senses After Making Me Sleep In Nima Cells For Two Weeks – Funny Face Shares Recovery Story

To mark his 41st birthday, Controversial Ghanaian actor, comedian, musician and Children’s President, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng popularly known as FunnyFace decided to give insight to his recovery journey at the psychiatric hospital.

Recall that a few months ago, Funny Face was all over the news for attacking his baby mama Vanessa with the intention of fighting for his kids Ella and Bella. He had altercations with some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry.

It was later disclosed that he was having bipolar and suffering from severe depression. He also had some altercations with some police men at Kasoa which led to his arrest.

Well, at the just ended comedy show dubbed “Too Mute To Be Cute by Lexy De Comic”, FunnyFace made an appearance to crack some jokes and also share a story about his recovery.

Sharing these experiences in a form of a joke, he said;

“When you go through problems, you’d sing sensible songs. I’m here today to tell somebody. I don’t know what you are going through. But I can tell you for a fact that you will come through. Whatever you are going through, for now, go through it. You’d be okay. I have been through mine. I am okay”.”I’ve been there before. I’ve been suicidal before. I wanted to die, but death was not even coming”.

FunnyFace was applauded buy the audience for his recovery and how good he currently looks.

The event saw many people throng the venue to entertain themselves with some funny jokes from renowned comedians in Ghana and Kenya. Comedians who graced the stage were; Simy from Kenya, OB Amponsah, Lekzy Decomic, Funny Face, Clemento Suarez, and Jeneral Ntatia.
