Davido has landed in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in consonance with our earlier report wherein we mentioned that he’s set to perform at the closing ceremony of the tournament.
In relation to this, a video has been shared online showing the musician stepping down from his private plane while carrying a blanket that features the face of his deceased son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Stephen Hung, a businessman from Hong Kong, previously confirmed Davido’s participation in the closing ceremony of the tournament on his official Instagram page on December 8th.
He posted a picture of the Afrobeats superstar and expressed his desire to watch him perform on a major international stage.
Hung wrote, “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
