The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has decided to extend the deadline for the submission of proxy applications until August 5, 2023, in preparation for the upcoming electoral college elections.
In a statement issued by the NPP presidential election committee, the extension was deemed necessary in response to concerns raised by some potential applicants regarding the initially limited time frame.
The committee is confident that this extended deadline will afford all prospective applicants sufficient time to fulfill the necessary requirements.
