In recent weeks, the spotlight has been on the exceptionally talented Highlife musician, Safo Newman, thanks to the success of his melodious single, “Akokoa.”
The song gained widespread recognition, reaching viral status after influential figures in the entertainment industry, including the acclaimed Ghanaian musician Sarkodie, acknowledged it on his social media platforms.
However, amidst the accolades, some detractors attempted to undermine Safo Newman’s musical prowess by critiquing his appearance, arguing that he didn’t fit the typical image of a musician.
Addressing these criticisms in an interview with Sammy Kay on the ‘Go Online’ show, Safo Newman firmly asserted that his physical appearance has no bearing on his musical talent.
The rising music star candidly shared that he is naturally introverted, highlighting that his reserved nature should not be mistaken for a lack of dedication to his craft.
Drawing parallels, he pointed out that renowned artists like Adele also identify as introverts, and this characteristic has not hindered their exceptional musical contributions.
