American rapper Meek Mill has urged the police to release the culprit who stole the phone of the rapper a few days ago.
Recall that Meek Mill went haywire after his iPhone 14 Pro Max was stolen a few hours after his arrival in Ghana. He took to his Instagram story to lament over his stolen phone.
The Ghana police in the late hours yesterday announced that a suspect was arrested and retrieved a mobile phone that was stolen from Meek Mill, an American hip-hop artist.
The suspect has been identified as Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa and was arrested at his hideout in Accra. He is currently in police custody and will be taken through the due process of the law.
Following the news of the arrest of the culprit, Meek Mill has taken to his page to say he cannot tell how his phone got missing and that the culprit should be set free.
He tweeted, “I coulda dropped that phone on a dirt bike I don’t actually know for a fact somebody went in my pocket! I got it back that’s all I needed I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone.., I don’t even know what happened to it”.
