Kasoa based musician Kobby Gaisie who recently released his new single “Boa Me” has cautioned event organisers not to attach the Kasoa brand to any problem if it is not properly planned.
According to the “Ene Me Ne” hitmaker, the Kasoa brand is big hence before you attach the name to a program or event, you must be ready to invest a lot in it and make sure that, the event sells Kasoa to the rest of the world at the end of the day.
Kobbie said this on Obaatanpa Radio yesterday where he was on a media tour to promote his banger. He stated further that some event organizers take the people of Kasoa for granted just for their own selfish gains.
Gaisie then touched on his music career, describing it as going well. He said his biggest challenge is affording the cost of promotion especially paying DJs to play the song.
He said “my biggest challenge is ” Payola”. I have to pay DJs to play my song and I feel that is unfair”.
He later assured his fans to expect more and an album soon.
