The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia joined worshipers at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bolgatanga to do early morning Mass service as per the doctrine of the church.
Speaking at the church, Dr Bawumia urged the congregants to continual pray for Ghana because the country needs the intervention of God to be able to fight against the covid 19
Dr Bawumia further appealed to the church to contribute their quota in the quest of the government to strengthen the security of the State since it is the commitment of the President, H.E Akuffo Addo to ensure that every Ghanaian is protected
According to the Vice President, things that unite the citizens are more than those that divide them in the sense that Ghanaians are people with one destiny with a common purpose
“I called on all religious faiths to work together to protect our well-earned and acclaimed peace and unity”, he said.
