The Black Sharks of Ghana have suffered a 7-5 defeat to the Sand Pharaohs of Egypt in the return leg of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Alexandria on Sunday.
Ghana went to Egypt with a 6-5 win in the 1st leg played at the Laboma Beach in Accra a fortnight ago.
The Black Sharks have therefore failed to secure qualification following a 12-11 aggregate loss after the two legs.
This will be the third time Ghana failed to qualify for the competition.
The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique 2022 is scheduled to take place in Maputo from October 21-30 2022.
