The Deputy Minister of Information and Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom Constituency Hon. Sylvester Matthew Tetteh has questioned the opposition NDC on Mahama’s Promise to create jobs for the youth when elected to power 7th December as he says same person made assertion that he is not magician to create jobs.
The former President John Mahama in 2016 said his government has no magic wand to put money into people’s pockets.
According to President Mahama, “The fact of life is that you can only have money in your pocket if you work and earn it and so there is no magic to put money into people’s pockets.
Meanwhile John Dramani Mahama is currently campaigning promising Ghanaian youth to put money in their pockets.
However, Speaking at the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency campaign team and campaign launch under the theme: “Uniting and working for Victory 2024”, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh rubbished Mahama’s promise and described it as a way to deceive Ghanaian youths.
Hon. Sylvester Tetteh called on the Ghanaian Youth to give deaf ear to John Dramani Mahama and the NDC party.
He also called on party folks to leave behind their differences and work as a united front to break the 8 and retain him as member Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro.
On her part, the Minister of Information, Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar noted that all the good interventions and policies in the country was been implemented by the New Patriotic Party.
She made mention of the National Insurance Scheme, Free maternal care, Free SHS and many others.
She also admonished party folks to desist from the voting style called “Skirt and Blouse”.
Lastly the NPP Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency Chairman Mr. Bright Ofori Ampofo the NDC and their flagbearer donot represent change. He says Mahama has been president before and couldn’t deliver, so he believes the second coming of JDM will be disaster and doom the country hence the need to retain Hon. Sylvester Tetteh and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia coming December elections.
