Ghana International, Emmanuel Boateng has made a sensational comeback to his former club Rio Ave in the Portuguese Premier League.
Boateng returns to his first club in Europe where he joined in July 2014 from Ghanaian lower-tier side Charity Stars.
The 26-year old has penned down a two-year contract with the Vila do Conde based club from Chinese side Dalian Yifang following the expiration of his contract.
Since joining Dalian in 2019, Boateng has made 37 appearances, chipping in with 11 goals in the Chinese Super League.
The former Ghana U-20 forward had a stint in the Spanish Laliga with Levante where he made 41 appearances and 7 goals not forgetting the famous hat-trick against FC Barcelona during the 2017/2018 season.
