Ghanaian rapper and artiste manager Nana Appiasei, known in the music space as Smallgod has lamented over how some fans have been requesting mobile money on social media on daily basis.
The artist in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM disclosed how he finds his inbox filled up with requests from people for money.
“Most people send me DM for mobile money requests through my social media handles and there are a lot of people out there who do that on a regular basis,” he revealed.
“They send me their phone number and plead with me to send them mobile money and these are people who don’t even know me so what am I supposed to do,” he said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
Smallgod further disclosed to the host, Amansan Kyrakye that although he is a wealthy person, he cannot send money to random people who request it because he does not know their real intentions behind their begging.
“If I feel like I have to help somebody I do but I can’t send MoMo to everyone who makes a request because I might not even know what their intentions are,” Smallgod added on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
He ended “Maybe the money you want me to send you is going to be used to buy a knife to go and murder someone which I might not know so I have to see your intentions before I decide I’m helping you”.
