The statement after several complaints about the charges for a passport in Ghana.
According to the Ministry, the charges were adjusted in line with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481).
The adjustment is said to take effect today, April 1, 2024
Meanwhile, several persons have complained bitterly about the sudden rise in price for acquiring a Ghanaian passport.
To them, services that were going for a Ghc50 and Ghc100 cedis have skyrocketed to Ghc500 and Ghc 644, Ghc 800 and Ghc 700.
