Ghanaian music producer, Eric Nkrumah, better known as Unda Beatz, has tragically passed away. The sad news was confirmed by close friends, including Yaa Pono, with whom he worked on several tracks.
Unda Beatz has produced for big names like Shatta Wale, Strongman , and Stonebwoy. Among his most notable works are Top Skanka and Sobolo, which he produced for Stonebwoy. He also earned a nomination for Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards. Sobolo went on to win Highlife Song of the Year at the 2021 3Music Awards.
Unda Beatz’s passing came as a shock, with no details yet shared about the cause of death. His sudden departure is even more heartbreaking, as he had just posted photos on social media three days earlier to mark his birthday.
