The Founder and Head Pastor of Eternal Glory Ministry, Rev. Richard Boateng popularly known as I HEAR has sent a word of advise to the Ghanaian youth to shun from recent act of abusing drugs such as Red 225 and others.
According to the prominent man of God, there has a been a growing number of young people in Ghana’s urban ghettos are becoming addicted to a potent opioid drug known as “RED,” leading to severe health and social consequences.
From nodding off in public to jeopardizing their well-being and livelihoods, the impact of this addiction is increasingly alarming.
Viral videos circulating on social media depict individuals slumping into a drowsy stupor, often linked to the abuse of tramadol—the main component in RED.
In view of this, Rev. Richard Boateng urged the Youth to prioritize a better future as he noted that drug abuse will yield no better for a youth who indulge in drugs.
The Man of God added that hookup culture is a clear form of prostitution.
According to him, regardless of the fanciful names – hookups or slay queens – individuals offer casual sex in return for a fee or favour.
There are concerns over the practise of hooking up girls and boys in our society and how it is eroding Ghanaian values.
