Afua Asantewaa has revealed that the reason she did not inform Ghanaians about being disqualified by the Guinness World Records was due to not being aware of it.
According to her, she currently does not have access to the account that she used to communicate with GWR so she has not even seen the communication coming from them to her.
Afua Asantewaa nevertheless, apologised to Ghanaians for not revealing the news.
Social media has been on fire ever since GWR came out to announce that Afua Asantewaa’s sing-a-thon attempt had been disqualified.
She had apparently received the news and kept it hidden and Ghanaians bashed her for it.
However, she’s now claiming not to have received the news but that she had no intentions of hiding any information from Ghanaians.
Still, people aren’t buying her explanations with replies like: “She is being dishonestShe is being dishonest,” one said.
Another added: “She lacks integrity…she is not to be trusted.she took ghanaians who supported her to be fools,”
