Global Citizen to partner with Stonebwoy’s The Livingstone Foundation for Move Afrika Campaign

Global Citizen

Global Citizen, the world’s leading international advocacy organisation, has announced a partnership with Stonebwoy’s charity organization The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), as part of its forthcoming Move Afrika: Ghana campaign.

The partnership aims to support TLF’s mission and enable the organization to continue to scale its work across the country and globally.

The Livingstone Foundation was ”selected based on its reach, demonstrated impact, presence across diverse regions in Ghana, and focus particularly in the areas of women’s and children’s health”, Global Citizen said in a statement.

Through this collaboration, Global Citizen aims to promote and amplify the capacity of TLF to further its missions and enhance its impact both locally and globally. The Livingstone Foundation will join four other non-profits as part of this campaign.

Move Afrika focuses on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through strengthening social and economic development, job creation and supporting non-profit organisations to drive local impact.

”Through this partnership, Global Citizen and its non-profit partners will work collaboratively to create lasting change and drive progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals across Ghana,” said Liz Agbor-Tabi, Global Citizen’s Vice President of Global Policy and Strategic Relationships.

“By increasing health financing and supporting the critical work of these non-profit organisations, our Move Afrika: Ghana campaign aims to contribute to a healthier, more prosperous future for all Ghanaians.”

Dr Louisa Ansong-Satekla, Director, of The Livingstone Foundation also said: ”We’re excited about this new collaboration with Global Citizen for the Move Afrika campaign. We share a common vision of creating a better world for future generations, and this partnership will enable us to scale our efforts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.”

The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), established by international musician Stonebwoy, seeks to create a better quality of life for the Ghanaian community through education, youth empowerment, health care and disability justice.

The foundation provides educational resources, skill development programs, and advocacy for underserved communities and individuals with disabilities, ensuring inclusive access to education and opportunities for all.
