Humble Smith says his latest song “Born Champion” was written in the club even though it was inspired by God. He stressed that “looking at the circumstances that led to the writing of this song, I felt it came from God directly because He wanted me to realize everything I’ve gone through and to reassure myself that I’m a champion and never to give up”
The “Osinachi” hitmaker real named Ekenedirichukwu Ijemba dropped the exclusive revelation on Obaatanpa Radio 92.5 in an interview with Ogboro Naghty host of the After Drive on Wednesday evening.
He also spoke about the impact his mum had on him which partly formed the foundation for the song.
Humble Smith said he came to Ghana to promote the single and is open for any collaboration towards his coming EP which is about to drop soon and that “Born Champion” is a single off that EP.
He described the upcoming EP as a movement and a testimony of his journey so far.
He was quizzed about what Nigerians are doing right that Ghanaian are not doing and the Show Bobo Music CEO responded ” We all do and perform music but if you believe someone is better than you, it will happen that way but if you believe in yourself, you will do great things”.
Finally, Smith singled out Sarkodie as his favourite artiste while congratulating all top arts in Ghana and concluded that all upcoming artiste should be bold enough to take a step.
