National Democratic Congress, NDC Executives at Gomoa East Constituency has appealed on the president Mahama and vetting committee and national executives to appoint Hon. Clement Kwesi Abekah Baah to the position of Gomoa District Chief Executive.
According to them the position of DCE must given to someone who is indigenous, brilliant and vibrant to help bridge the gab between the president and the people in the Constituency.
In a press conference held today, Mr Joseph Anambon, Ward Coordinator for upper Buduburam wards said, Mr Clement Kwesi Abekah Baah has been instrumental in the party’s victory during 2024 election as Constituency secretary which made him stand tall among the candidate who are in the race of DCE position in Gomoa East.
He said, appointing of Clement Kwesi Abekah Baah as DCE will help promote equity in the political dispensation of the District and solidify the NDC’s relationship with the people in the district as large.
He therefore called on the president and authorities to consider they are appeal and appoint Clement Kwesi Abekah Baah to become Gomoa East District Chief Executive to help the party and the district as large in the next four years.
However, the Constituency Organizer for NDC, Hassan Amidu on his side appeal to President Mahama and the National Executives to adhere to their plea and appoint Clement Kwesi Abekah Baah as DCE to help strengthen the party in the next elections.
