Yesterday, July 18, 2022, Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu who happens to be the majority leader of and member of parliament for the Suame constituency was chased out by his constituents.
It happened because the artisans at the Suame magazine have been complaining about the bad roads in the constituency for a long time now.
According to reports, the majority leader was in the constituency to inspect some road projects, however, he was pelted with sachet water and stuff.
He had to be swiftly whisked away by his security detail to avoid anything untoward from happening.
The angry mob, who were chanting war songs hooted, and pelted their MP with sachet water. He however admitted that they have every right to do what they did. He also promised them that work will begin on the road in 3 days.
And true to his words, road works have started today, July 19, 2022, at the Suame road following the action or better still demonstration of the angry constituents.
