A Gory Accident has occurred at Gomoa Dominase junction which involves a Kia Rhino with registration number WR- 566 -16 carrying fertilizer from Gomoa Dominase township joining the highway crashed with an over speeding tipper truck with a registration number GS 6823-17 from Kasoa heading towards Winneba.
One person who happens to be the driver’s mate for the Kia Rhino died instantly whiles two others are in a critical condition receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialized Hospital.
Mireku Nyampong speaking with some eyewitnesses at the scene noted that, the tipper truck was over speeding and couldn’t brake when the Kia Rhino was joining the highway hence the accident.
Moreover, The Omankrado for Gomoa Akyampim traditional council Nana Kwao Adofrakye has complained bitterly over the bad attitude of some Drivers which is causing so many innocent souls in the country.
He has called on Ghana highway Authority to dualise the Kasoa- Winneba Highway to reduce the rampant accident in the area.
