Hearts of Oak players mix alcohol with weed and smoke heavily before games’ – Board Member Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe insists

According to Accra Hearts of Oak Board Member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a number of the teams’ players had consumed alcohol and smoked marijuana in the days leading up to their games.

An ex-Ghana Football Association Chairman says that the indiscipline in the team under the watch of Samuel Boadu is alarming.

Even though Samuel Boadu has been given the responsibility to make choices, he has not been able to stamp his authority on his team to stop indiscipline, according to him.

“Hearts of Oak have been mine for more than 50 years, and I can detect a lack of discipline in the air. I’ve made it clear to the coach, even in front of the Board, that he’s the man in charge here.”

“It has, however, been plagued by a number of problems, including the break-in of camp and players smoking and drinking before their match the next day. Prior to a game, several players drink or smoke “Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe was interviewed by Asempa FM in Accra.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe has publicly criticized head coach Samuel Boadu in the previous several weeks, despite the former Medeama manager’s success on the field.

According to him, Samuel Boadu will be a poor choice to lead them in the forthcoming CAF Confederations Cup campaign in 2022/2023.
