Samuel Inkoom admits he misses playing for the Black Stars but says he is trying hard to recover his place.

He was part of the Black Satellites team that won the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Egypt in 2009.

Took Inkoom to the senior national team. Between 2008 and 2016, he represented Ghana in many AFCONs and the 2010 FIFA World Cup, when Ghana reached the quarter-finals.

Former Asante Kotoko right-back joins Torpedo Kutaisi in Georgian top flight and says he’d want to play for Ghana again.

“I miss Ghana. It’s always fantastic to serve my nation. “I am still giving it my all and would want to do it again,” he told Joy Sports.

Inkoom has had a journeyman career, having played for 13 teams since becoming pro. He wants to remain at Torpedo Kutaisi for a long time and assist the team win titles.

“I’ve played football in so many nations. The World Cup, UEFA Champions League and whatever stage a player needs to perform on,” he continued.

As a reminder, Samuel Inkoom scored his first goal for Hearts of Oak in their draw against Elmina Sharks.

Hearts were hoping to bounce back to winning ways after dropping points last Week against Kotoko.

Things got on well for Hearts of Oak as Inkoom curled in a free kick in the 3rd minute of the game to give them a 1-0 lead, however, the game ended in 1:1.
