In a recent interview, the well-known Nollywood actress Ini Edo discussed the numerous ways in which being a mother has altered her way of life.
The actress divulged this information during a conversation with Lilian Afegbai on her talk program titled “Lilian’s Couch.” The actress just became a mother for the first time, and she did it via the process of surrogacy.
When she was asked about the process of learning to love another person, she responded by saying, “The reality is that you can genuinely love someone more than you love yourself.” Suddenly, you are not as significant as the person you were talking about before.
“I’m the kind of person who loves both my own company and the privacy of my own place. But then you come to the realization that when you first wake up in the morning, you are not thinking about yourself at all. This occurs before you even begin to think about yourself. You are considering your kid, aren’t you?
When the well-known actress was conversing with Stella Dimoko back in December, she broke the news that she had become a mother via the process of surrogacy.
As a response to the criticism that was levelled at her at the time, she said, “Yes, I do have a daughter, and I had her via surrogacy.” Since the eggs came from my body, her genetic makeup is identical to mine. I made the decision to go in this direction so that I might realize my goal of having a family someday.
“I still have a fair number of eggs stored in case I decide to do surrogacy again or carry my kid myself,” she said. “It all depends on whether or not I decide to carry my baby myself.” Who is to say?
When questioned about the identity of the father of her kid, the famous actress confessed that she chose to have a donor carry out the procedure in order to have “peace of mind.”
“I chose for a donor for the sake of both my peace of mind and the peace of mind of my kid. Because it frightens me so much when I see banter and controversies between a mother and a father over a baby in public forums or when I see the man insisting he wants his child if things don’t work out between both parties, one of the primary reasons I decided to go with a donor was because of this. “It scares me so much when I see banter and controversies between a mother and a father over a baby in public forums.”
