I earn $800k monthly from rent alone; I don’t need govt contracts to survive – Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central and a presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana, has revealed that he earns $800,000 a month from rental income alone.

He made this statement during an interview on TV3’s “NewDay” show.

Agyapong mentioned that he is involved in various business ventures and doesn’t rely on government contracts or procurement to generate income. He emphasized that he has numerous business interests in the country that contribute significantly to his earnings. He also stated that he is not currently involved in any government contracts or projects.

During the interview, Agyapong also addressed his alleged involvement in the killing of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale. He maintained his stance that he had no role in the journalist’s death and emphasized that the journalist’s actions were responsible for his own fate. He described Ahmed Hussein-Suale as a “bad guy” and suggested that he was used by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Kennedy Agyapong’s statements shed light on his financial situation and business activities, while also addressing allegations related to the journalist’s death.
