Ghanaian politician and former employee o the National Security Ministry Hopeson Adorye has forgiven the sector Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah of his dismissal.
Hopeson Adorye has been relieved of his duties at the National Security a few days ago. The politician has reacted to his dismissal and has disclosed that he is not discouraged.
During his interview on Oman FM, Hopeson Adorye stated the reasons why he was sacked and also disclosed that he knows those behind his dismissal; stating that it was for political reasons.
Hopeson Adorye stated that his dismissal is as a result of the support he gave the flagbearer aspirant Alan Kyeremanten, adding that his dismissal letter did not come from Kan Dapaah but from a powerful person in the party.
“I’m not a zombie, uncle, I was told that my support is not towards a particular camp so I should be dismissed, I have been dismissed. ‘Your appointment has been terminated with immediate effect.’ That is why I am stressing that God will cater for us, we will never die.”
“God will cater for us, we will eat, uncle (referring to the show host), God has got us,” Adorye said. “How we toiled in opposition for Akufo-Addo to come to power, we will do the same for Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen to come.”
“I have left it all to God, we won’t sleep hungry. I know it is not my minister who will do this, Kan-Dapaah will not do this. But from what I am hearing, I pity those who issued the instruction.”
