I made Sidney, Mzbel and VIP to go international – Tic

Tic, a hiplife legend, has detailed how he helped his other musicians get into the worldwide music scene after Tony Tetuila’s breakthrough collaboration with him.

A deal he made with his label, Goodies Music Production, in the early 2000s obligated Tic (formerly known as Tic Tac), to take other label artists internationally, according to Tic.

On Citi TV’s Upside Down broadcast, he said that he was the first Ghanaian hiplife star to break into Nigeria.

Following the release of his highly successful duet with Tony Tetuila, titled “Fe Fe Ne Fe”, Tic had become a household name in the largest African market.
