Legendary Ghanaian singer, Kwabena Kwabena, born George Kwabena Adu, has lamented his two failed marriages.
Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix, Kwabena Kwabena said he believes his marriages failed because his wives didn’t know him well before agreeing to marry him.
According to him, both ladies he married – Esther and Abena Owusuaa – were fans who came into his life and started a relationship.
Kwabena Kwabena said they knew him, the musician but not the real person, George Adu.
Accordingly, both marriages failed.
The ‘Aso’ hitmaker also admitted that when he achieved the height of his fame as a young man, he should have concentrated on his career rather than letting other things such as marriage distract him.
He believes that contributed to his career going down till now that he’s attempting a comeback.
The singer was one of the biggest stars of the 2000s but has not remained on the same path in recent years.
According to him, getting married was the biggest reason his career fell off.
