Private legal practitioner Captain (rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey has revealed that he is no more representing Evangelist Mama Pat known also as Nana Agradaa in court.
The embattled woman of God is currently in police custody facing charges of defrauding her church members after organizing an all-night last Friday.
Nana Agradaa made headlines again after a video from her church premises went viral on social media. According to the alleged victims, Nana Agradaa asked them to bring their monies to get a double portion of their monies which she failed to do.
The lawyer explained that he took the decision to quit representing Nana Agradaa because he felt uncomfortable. He disclosed that his visit to Nana Agradaa’s place made him realize that as a born-again Christian, his spirit did not agree with his actions.
“Agradaa, I beg you, she took me as her lawyer for a few weeks,” he told Kofi Adoma of Kofi TV fame.
“I went to her place on a visit. My spirit was not comfortable with her environment because I am a born-again Christian and I didn’t feel comfortable so I stopped being her lawyer,” he added.
Nana Agradaa is currently facing two counts of defrauding by false pretenses and is expected to be in court Today, Thursday, October 13, 2022.
