Popular Ghanaian dancer, Dancegod Lloyd, has disclosed that he used to be a footballer and even shared the pitch with the current Deputy Captain of the Black Stars, Thomas Partey.
During his interview with Channel One TV, Dancegod disclosed that before he became a professional dancer, he used to be a footballer who played alongside other team members of the Black Stars
“I was a footballer… Thomas Teye Partey and Moses Odjer were some of my teammates,” he indicated.
When asked why he did not pursue his football career but ventured into dancing, Dancegod Lloyd said he believed it was the will of God.
“You can’t question God. Sometimes I wonder why I couldn’t play professionally, but God knows best, and that is what He intended for me. Even now, I still ask myself why.” He disclosed.
