Veteran Ghanaian songstress Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah known well as Mzbel has disclosed that she wanted to feature rapper Medikal on her song ‘Asibolanga’ but he didn’t give her any positive feedback.
Mzbel has finally released her much anticipated Xmas banger titled “Asibolanga”. Fans and followers of the songstress have been pressuring her to drop the full track after she released an excerpt of the song last two weeks.
In an exclusive interview with Sammy Kay, the “Sixteen years” hitmaker disclosed that when she was writing her song ‘Asibolanga’. she wanted rapper Medikal on the song but it did not work.
Mzbel disclosed how she reached out to the rapper but since she didn’t receive any positive feedback from him, she decided to drop it.
“I had initially wanted to put Medikal on the Asibolanga song, but unfortunately, he was feeling pompous. I tried to reach out to him through his wife (Fella Makafui) and the response was not positive. They kept tossing me around,” she told Sammy Kay.
“He had already listened to the song. You know sometimes people don’t feel the music and maybe because of our relationship, he was afraid to tell me,” she added.
