I will rather use the $400m allocated for the building of the National Cathedral to repair all the bad roads in Ghana – PJKev

Akufo Addo’s government’s proposed plan to build a National Cathedral has also drawn the ire of African-American businessman and jet broker Kelvin Mensah, commonly known as PJKev.

Most Ghanaians did not support the Akufo Addo-led administration’s plans to have a National Cathedral constructed in the nation. Since there are other issues consuming the nation, the majority have already voiced their discontent with the proposition.

Regardless of the many opinions stated by Ghanaians, it is said that President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo made a pledge to God before assuming the office of the nation’s leader. He now intends to keep that commitment by constructing the National Cathedral.

PJKev said that rather than contributing to the National Cathedral’s construction, he would like to concentrate his efforts on creating more roads for the nation during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz program with the legendary presenter, Andy Dosty.

He said that excellent roads are always the foundation of a country’s infrastructure and that he personally has been worried about the country’s poor roads. He said he would want to talk with some of the country’s leaders about how to get these roads restored.

PJKev added that he has always aimed to bring clean, drinkable water to rural areas of Ghana and other African nations.

He has already succeeded in achieving some of these objectives and is working to achieve more, so if given $400 million, he would rather use it to fund his foundation and repair the nation’s crumbling roads than to build the National Cathedral.
