Bankroller of Kumasi based Ghana Premier league side, King Faisal has come up to condemn Asamoah Gyan on returning to the World Cup with the Black Stars of Ghana.
Alhaji Grusah who is also a management member for the Black Stars of Ghana says Asamoah Gyan cannot play at the world cup because he claimed Ghana scored a soft goal against South Africa.
“If the coach invites him, there will be a problem. Baba Yara did not play at the World Cup. Osei Kofi did not play at the World Cup so Gyan should realize that he has done his part,” he said.
“I’m against Asamoah Gyan playing at the World Cup because he claims we scored a soft goal against South Africa, if we hadn’t scored the soft goal, would we have qualified?” he quizzed.
He added, “He can’t play at the World Cup. He can’t be like Roger Milla.”
Meanwhile Head Coach Otto Addo has named his squad for Brazil and Nicaragua friendly games in September.
