Stonebwoy, the multi-award-winning reggae-dancehall artist, does not seem to be interested in working with other Ghanaian artistes not excluding rapper Tinny anytime soon.
Stonebwoy was responding to Tinny’s latest attack after he paid his debt without his permission on live radio.
Stonebwoy remarked on the ‘Daybreak Hitz’ broadcast on Hitz FM on Monday, August 22, “I don’t believe I would want to work with him anymore, truth be told.” I’m sorry about how they [the press] are going to spin this.”
Stonebwoy swiftly emphasized that he isn’t performing features because of Tinny, but because of his current musical endeavour, the ‘Ashaiman to the World’ performance on September 3rd.
“I think the reason I am not doing features, not just him [Tinny], is because it is time I focus on my next project.
“They [other musicians] should also realise that I am the same person who would pick up my phone, or go on Instagram and hit up someone and say ‘Hey, let’s do a joint,” he clarified.
A specific event organiser is believed to have accused Tinny of accepting GHS2,000 for a concert he never performed.
He reported the incident to the Ghana Police, who impounded Tinny’s automobile until he repaid the money.
But Stonebwoy stepped in and settled the score, which enraged Tinny, even more, hurling insults at Stonebwoy and even the entire media.
