Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko recently shared her aspirations for financial independence, expressing a desire to be a white woman in her next life.
The revelation came in response to a video posted by Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut, featuring two Caucasian women discussing their self-sufficiency.
In the video, the Caucasian women emphasized their ability to cover “luxury expenses” independently, including hair and nails, and favored personality-focused dates over extravagant outings.
Etiko, known for her roles in various Nollywood productions, took to social media to share her thoughts on the matter.
“In my next life, I will be a white girl. Cos Even as a Nigerian babe, I don’t expect anything from anyone, but if it happens, then it’s fine,” she stated.
Etiko further explained her aversion to negative responses when making demands, expressing a preference for working tirelessly to achieve her life goals and asserting, “I hate to hear ‘No’ for an answer when I demand something. So I would rather work tirelessly to achieve my goals in life. I work for my money.”
Etiko ventured into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2011.
Etiko’s career received prominence after she featured in a movie titled Idemili which was produced in 2012 by Ernest Obi but was not released until 2014.
Her role in the movie earned her a City People Entertainment Awards nomination.
Before her role in the movie titled Idemili, Etiko had appeared in other movies although did not receive prominent roles in them.
