Former Deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has praised Fiifi Kwetey for revealing the cancerous decay at the heart of the NDC.
He believes that this vindicates his stance and opinion about the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a tweet shared via X he said “When, on the eve of a very crucial election year, the GS of the NDC decides NOT to contain his deep anger and frustration anymore, it speaks volumes of the cancerous decay at the heart of the NDC. At least when I was Deputy GS, I contained mine. 🐐 & 🦟 are destroying the NDC”
Speaking at a commemorative anniversary of the 2023 edition of the 31st December Revolution in Accra, Fiifi Kwetey indicated that the problem is bigger than the NPP.
He indicated that the NDC has major internal issues which needs to be addressed indicating that if they want to come to power to continue what is happening under the current government then they are better-off staying in opposition.
“There is real decay and that decay continues to be in the NDC today. So, I don’t want us the NDC to pretend that 31st December is simply a day to bash NPP, (the) NPP is not the issue, the issue is bigger than NPP.
“The decay even within the NDC must stop with that blazing fire and that is what this business is about,” a charged Kwetey submitted.
“It is in vain if we win power only to continue what we see, only to do some of the things that we are seeing and only to claim we are doing less, that is not enough.”
