Peter Boamah Otokunor, the Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians, particularly NDC youth, to rise up to rescue Ghanaians from the hardships brought in by President Nana Akufo Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
He explained that the NPP-led government has placed an undue burden on Ghanaians, particularly the youth, who are the country’s future leaders, and that the youth must rise up and work tirelessly to return power to the NDC in the 2024 election.
After meeting with the youth leadership of the Akyem Swedru constituency in the Eastern region, he spoke to the media at Akyem Awisa.
He also asked all NDC branch and constituency executives to unite and work together with party members in their respective constituencies in order to grow the party and help it win power in the 2024 election.
