Kanye West Apologizes for Anti-Semitic Tweets, Say He Was Drunk

Kanye West

Kanye West has apologized for a series of antisemitic tweets he has previously made, claiming he was drunk at the time.

During an interview with Candace Owen on her podcast, Kanye said he had some Hennessey within him when he sent out the tweets which damaged him extensively in the public eye.

“I was drinking when I put up the DEFCON tweet…You wanna know what alcohol I had inside me? Hennessy. It turns us gray. The demons [come out],” Kanye said.

The podcast was reportedly filmed in 2022 but released today.

When Owens asked why he did not reveal that previously, he said he did not reveal that because he still considers his words as truth, even if he only said them when drunk.

The offending tweet, sent out in October October 2022, read: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.

“The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
