A French footballer who plays for the French National Team and Real Madrid FC wept after his team was painfully eliminated by the Switzerland National team from the European Football Competition going on in the selected European countries.
The French Striker has written on his Facebook wall that “Sad and disappointed following yesterday’s game. Disappointment is immense, wish I kept making you vibe long longer. Thank you for your unfailing support since the start of this euro. Thank you for the strength you gave me daily. Nothing is ever easy, we keep fighting to prepare for the future and come back even stronger”
Kylian Mbappe missed as Switzerland knocked out France by winning 5-4 on penalties. No goals in extra time. Mario Gavranovic equalled things in the 90th minute. Haris Seferović scored to bring one back for Switzerland after Paul Pogba scored a screamer in the 75th minute to further extend France’s lead. Karim Benzema scored twice to give France the lead in the 2nd half, just after Switzerland’s Ricardo Rodríguez missed a penalty.
