Kasoa MCE nominee expresses gratitude to Mahama, calls on Assembly members to eschew political differences for Kasoa rebranding agenda.

Mr. Seth Saba Banini has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating him for consideration as the Awutu Senya East (Kasoa) Municipal Chief Executive.

Mr. Banini  was one of three individuals vetted by the Ministry of Local Government for the position.

The announcement of his nomination was made in a press statement by the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim.

The news was met with widespread jubilation and optimism about his capacity to manage the affairs of Kasoa (Awutu Senya East Municipality) effectively.

He also expressed appreciation to the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Hon. Dr. Phyllis Naà Koryoo Okunor for her continued support, and to the Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for standing by him throughout the process.

 

Mr. Banini also extended his gratitude to the grassroots members of the party and the good people of Kasoa, pledging to prioritize their welfare and ensure inclusive development across Kasoa.

 

Mr. Seth Saba Banini however made a passionate appeal to the District Assembly Members in Awutu Senya East to eschew political differences and confirm on him with good fate.

 

He said the agenda to rebrand Kasoa to attract investors cannot hold with division but unity. “Coming together to give me the mandate will go a long way to continue the good work of the previous administration and introduce new ones which will make Kasoa a better place”, he added.

His nomination is expected to undergo further consideration and approval by the Awutu Senya East Assembly Members through election which will be supervised by the Electoral Commission in the coming days.
