The Ghana Immigration Service in Kasoa has received a brand-new motorcycle from the member of parliament for Awutu Senya East, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, to aid in the performance of their duties.
The lawmaker claims that Kasoa is one of the fastest-growing communities in Africa, with new foreign residents moving in on a regular basis. In light of this, Hon. Hawa Koomson thinks it’s important to provide the Immigration Services personnel with the tools they need to function effectively and ensure our security.
After the presentation, Hon Hawa Koomson informed Obaatanpa News Mireku Nyampong of this.
The MP was accompanied by Mr. Emmanuel Afram Anim, the campaign manager who also serves as the deputy CEO of the coastline development authority, and several NPP officials from the Awutu Senya East constituency.
When accepting the motorcycles on behalf of the Ghana Immigration Services, Commander for the Central East Region Assistant Commissioner Mr. Fekah Kwabena Johnson expressed gratitude to the MP for providing such logistics and assured them that Kasoa would be kept safe.
