The Mankrado of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region Nana Otuboah Kwesi Gariba I has condemned the clashed between two Muslim groups during Eid-ult-Fitr carnival at Kasoa in the the Awutu Senya East.
We reported that on Monday March 31, 2025 two Muslim youth Groups all in Kasoa were involved in a violent clash which resulted to the injury of three persons and the arrest of one of the perpetrators.
Reacting to this, the Kasoa Mankrado noted that it is quiet unfortunate that such incident has happened right after 30 days of fasting.
In an interview Nana Otuboah Kwesi Gariba I admonished the youth to desist from intake of any form of substances and disassociate themselves from bad friends.
He further called for concerted efforts from relevant stakeholders to come together to sensitize the youth to desist from violent activities which paint Kasoa negatively worldwide.
On his part, the Assemblyman for Kasoa Opeikuma Kumbe Electoral area, Hon. Habbib Abdulai added that, the teachings of Islam speak against illicit behavior which the youth should desist from activities that impact their lives negatively.
