Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson has confirmed that, a military base will be structured in kasoa to beef up security in her constituency.
Hon. Hawa Koomson made this known to the people of Awutu Senya East in a radio interview during the visit of President Nana Akuffo Addo on his two days tour in the central region. Madam Hawa Koomson touched on several issues happening in her constituency including agenda let there be light,
Speaking with Obaatanpa Radio’s Kofi Kyei Baffuor, she did mention some completed and yet to start projects that are aimed to increase the development in her constituency.
This projects include a 12 unit classroom block at the Methodist school and a yet to be completed 12 unit class room block at the Anglican.
On security issues, she said even though the police and other security agencies are working hard to keep everyone safe, The constituency intends to build a military base just so her people are fully safe.
