The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Dr. Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor is calling on the Good People of Kasoa and it’s environs to remain patient as she engages various stakeholders to resolve the long-standing water challenge that has recently also be on the rise.
The over 250,000 residents in Kasoa known for their trading activities have been suffering from portable water scarcity in the area for years now.
At the moment, various communities in Kasoa have not had a drop of water from their pipe for almost three months now. This situation has forced residents to walk or hire a vehicle to fetch for water in long distance.
Speaking to Obaatanpa news in an exclusive interview, the Member of Parliament Hon. Naa Koryoo noted that many of the same complains were received and she is committed in resolving the challenge.
She noted that, talks with various stakeholders are ongoing to find lasting solution to this menace.
She however assured her constituents of her readiness and full commitment to the Good people of Kasoa.
