A category he has mastered over the past years, Takoradi-bred musician Kofi Kinaata has had his latest work nominated for the Best Highlife Song for the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
The nominees list for that category was released Saturday morning amid others being released by organisers hourly over the course of the day.
The Have Mercy composer will face competition from the likes of Kelvyn Boy, whose song Down Flat also made it onto the nominees list.

The other nominees are Kwesi Arthur (Adom), AK Songstress (My Proposal), Adina Thembi (Adi Dede) and Epixode (Atia).
The 24th VGMAs will be held on Saturday, May 13 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
